Located in the historic district of Bordentown, NJ, renovations to the first floor of the building and exterior required approval from the local historic preservation board, as well as complicated structural engineering to reinforce existing wall (an exterior wall had started to bow outwards) and floor framing, which dates to the 1860’s, as well as alter this existing structure to accommodate a new design. Exterior renovations include a new series of custom-built storefront windows and canopy. All new trim, finish and paint details need to match the ancient details found elsewhere on the building.
Also working on a new restaurant for the interior space.
