The Ocean Club Condominiums

Originally a hotel with restaurant, the building was converted to condominiums just prior to Hurricane Sandy. The storm damaged the ground floor, which is below the Base Flood Elevation, and part of the 1st Floor. The ground floor restaurant closed as a result and this project converted it to a recreation room; the commercial restrooms were converted to unisex restrooms and the remaining spaces converted to a meeting rooms and storage room. Flood resistive design was incorporated per FEMA regulations. Total construction cost was approximately $400,000.00
